A Permeable Plantable Paving System Simple Enough for Do-It-Yourself
Soil Retention displayed a really cool product at this year's Greenbuild conference - a permeable flexible and plantable concrete paving system that comes in a mat form. The product, otherwise known as Drivable grass, comes in 4 square foot pallets, with individual concrete pavers connected in a flexible grid. As a result this paving system does not need to be vibrated during install and is a lot more forgiving, making it a great and relatively simple product for the do it yourselfer to install. The Buildaroo News Team interviewed Nick, from Soil Retention, about this great product. Watch the video above to see a demo and explanation of this product.

- permeable, and therefore rainwater can get into the aquifers.

- if grass is planted, it helps eliminate some of the pollutants in the rain before the water reaches the aquifers.
