Advanced Solar Photonics - Buy Local with 100% U.S. made Solar PV Panels!

We interviewed Kristen from Advanced Solar Photonics at the 2009 InterSolar conference.  Advanced Solar Photonics (ASP), is a manufacturer of PV panels focusing on monocrystalline, a crystal lattice which Kristen claims has practically zero defects.  According to Kristen, the company focuses on Monocrystalline because it functions better than other materials used for silicone cells. ASP's solar panels are 100% American made, and they provide a selection of 250, 300, 440, and 600 watt panels to accommodate consumer needs. ASP Solar sells its panels to distributors and integrators who then sell them to home and business owners. The company is quickly growing, and they are ramping up to be able to accomodate a 500 megawatt factory capacity!
