All Arclin Surfaces Facilities Now FSC Certified

Arclin, a leading provider of bonding, surfacing and related products for today's engineered building, industrial materials and natural resources markets recently announced that their Portland, OR and Hayward, WI Surfaces facilities have been added to its FSC Chain of Custody Certification. The Certification now covers all of Arclin's Surfaces facilities including Tacoma, WA which received its certification in 2008.

"This verifies that we have the systems and processes in place to ensure FSC certified paper coming to us as raw material can make it to our customers as FSC Chain of Custody Certified paper overlays. We are also proud that our Tacoma operation was the first decorative saturating facility to reach this milestone in becoming a more sustainable operation."

Arclin's FSC Chain of Custody Certified overlays will fall under its proprietary E-Gen(TM) designation as a more environmentally friendly and sustainable product. Approximately 85% of Arclin's overlay products will be available through the chain of custody for application in a variety of industries utilizing both decorative and industrial overlays. In the case of decorative products, FSC certification can be combined with GREENGUARD for Children and Schools certification, and a LEED compliant resin system for an even greener product.
