One of the appliances on display was a Fagor "magnetic induction cook-top!" Pretty intense name! Well, as Kevin so kindly explained to us, a magnetic induction cook-top uses a 10th of the energy of conventional gas/electric stoves. This is because it uses radio waves to stimulate the iron molecules in the cooking vessel. What is most fascinating is that the stove surface never generates any heat! Bazzeo also featured a Fagor energy efficient kitchen ventilation fan that utilizes natural draw similar to the ventilation design used in tepees. Lastly, Kevin showed us a Fagor convection oven, which circulates hot air within the oven cavity at an astonishing 90 times a minute! And for those cooking enthusiasts who hate dry meat, well this oven apparently seals what it's cooking; in other words, it keeps the juices in and the dry parts out!
