Premier Power @ PCBC 2009

Tim of buildaroo joined Mark as he spoke about the services provided by Premier Power. He started off talking about how the company was initially centered around new home construction, and how solar panel installation was offered to every third household.   The retrofit market was developed when Mark started getting calls from individuals inquiring if they could get solar panels as well. In 2003, Premier Power was formed and the company focused on solar installation. Premier Power is not afraid of new technology; instead, they are at the forefront of it! The Cylindrical Thin Film product is an affirmation of this. This product is, as the name indicates, cylindrical, so it is a passive tracker of the sun and maintains a 90 degree angle with the sun as it moves across the sky! If this product is installed on a white rooftop, any sun beams passing the Cylindrical Thin Film are reflected off the roof, and an additional 15% of energy is generated.  That's like recycling sun beams! Premier Power also offers bi-directional trackers which are 35' by 40' in dimensions.  A celestial program is installed within these trackers, allowing the panels to turn to optimal angles during any time of the day.
