Warmboard - Save Money While Warming Your Toes!
Tali, co-founder of buildaroo.com, discusses Warmboard with CEO/Founder/inventor, Terry Alsberg, at the 2009 PCBC. Terry is an Architect with a physics background who when remodeling his home decided that radiant floor heating systems needed an overhaul. Terry replaced a concrete base with plywood and aluminum modular panels that can be configured to match nearly any floor plan. These panels serve as the home's subfloor, and are easy to install since they are a tongue/groove assembly. The panels come with premade grooves for piping. Warmboard is great installed under hardwood flooring. It was used by many universities during the Solar Decathlon and is a part of several winning designs. Terry even has customers in Antarctica!
