China Requires Utilities to Buy All the Electricity Generated By Renewable Energy Companies

This weekend China amended its renewable energy law to require all utilities to buy all the electricity produced by renewable energy generators. Utilities refusing would be fined up to an amount double that of the economic loss of the renewable energy company.  This could create a huge boom in China's renewable energy industry, but this all depends on the purchase price set and how much companies would profit in the sales, something China has not yet released.
