Electric Car Company, Inc. Will Unveil a 100% Pure Electric Porsche Boxster Conversion November 8-11 at the Limo Digest Show in Atlantic City

Electric Car Company, Inc., a vehicle conversion Company that specializes in electric conversions and manufacturing for the Livery and Fleet Markets, announced on Friday that it will unveil a 100% "Pure Electric" Porsche Boxster at the 2009 Limo Digest Show November 8-11 to be held at the Trump Taj Mahal Convention Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey.  An electric Porsche!  How cool is that?

The fully electric Porsche Boxster conversion will feature a new 1000 amp continuous output controller technology that will travel from 0-60 mph in as little as 5.5 seconds with a travel range of up to 150 miles per day. The EV Porsche will be available to the public for as little as $75,000.00 and can be equipped with quick response heating, air conditioning and regenerative braking.

So what do you think?  Still not affordable for the masses, but at a price tag significantly below that of the Tesla, Porsche is definitely making electric cars sexy.
