IC Green: Homes Made out of Shipping Containers?

Yaakov interviewed Eric from IC Green at CA Boom 2009!  IC Green manufactures structures out of recycled shipping containers! Why this new innovation? Well it turns out that since the US imports far more than we export, we have an overabundance of shipping containers, just lying around with no use. Well walking through one of these let me tell you, they don't look like shipping containers.  And what's really cool about these is that they are movable structures.  So lets say you have an office in your back yard and you move, well you can move the office with you!  IC Green manufactures single units ranging from 8' X 20' and up to 2400 square feet. They run at 100$ per square foot. The structures come with shipping and setup on site. The units are insulated using foam insulation, and they can be equipped to recapture rain water. To find out more, visit the IC Green website or email [email protected]  And keep looking through our site for more videos of sustainable companies and products.
