Lotus Systems is a leading manufacturer of equipment for wet chemical applications in the photovoltaics industry and for semiconductor and micro-systems technology. Lotus Systems also provides chemical supply and disposal systems, tailored to their clients' specifications, as well as systems for professional parts cleaning. The company has been in business since 2001, but they have experts on their team who have over 30 years of industry experience. With globally renowned major turnkey projects in the production of solar cells, Lotus Systems has been a major contributor in shaping the climate in the international photovoltaics landscape.
According to Ernst, from Lotus Systems, their products are distinct from those of their competitors in that they consume less energy, water, and electricity. This leads to a reduced cost of ownership as well as a more sustainable green system. In addition, according to Ernst, the waste systems the company supplies are more sustainable than their competitors, since they use less chemicals to neutralize or flocculate manufacturing by-products.
Lotus Systems is a German based company, and they are currently establishing sales in the United States. Their target customers are semi-conductor and solar photovoltaic (PV) cell manufacturers, both silicon based cells and cells using thin film technology.
