McDonalds Going Sustainable with Kirei

Kirei lands an initial deal with the fast food giant, as McDonalds continues on their efforts to enhance the sustainability of their restaurant locations


Although most fast food chains are earth monsters, in Cary, North Carolina, one single McDonalds has taken the initiative towards green. Implemented green changes include free electric carports for plug-in hybrid vehicles, 95% use of FSC certified wood in the building's exterior, and recycled content inside the eating area including Kirei's sunflower seed board, wheat board, bamboo and Kirei board.
