The awesome Tim of buildaroo.com hit it off with Ray, VP of sales and marketing, in a conversation on wood products offered at Roseburg. Turns out that the company has been around for a long time, since 1936, and it is privately held; furthermore, it oversees approximately 200 thousand acres of FSC certified timberland within Northern California, that's amazing Ray! Roseburg is in the business of ply-woods and lumber, and manufactures FSC certified plywood. Veneer peeling operations take place within California, and they are subsequently shipped to various states including Oregon for manufacturing. Ray also states that Roseburg offers a wide array of FSC products, and that Roseburg works very closely with architects and engineers in FSC applications.
The products that were showcased at the booth include Skyblend, veneer particle boards, and Duratemp, ply-wood sidings, which are both FSC certified. The Duratemp is actually used in numerous schools within California!
