Is the U.S. Significantly Behind Europe in Sustainable Building Techniques such as Passive House? - Buildaroo Expert Energy Show


Since Passive House is a pretty unfamiliar term in the United States, how established of a building technique is it and where can passive homes be found?

James, a sustainable architect, tells us that passive homes are found across the globe in countries like Europe, Japan, and Australia. In fact, Passive House is so highly used in Europe that the European Union is considering adopting this technique as their standard in building by 2011!  The U.S is significantly behind Europe when it comes to this building technique.
