Zemos LEDs Innovative Chip Technology - Some of the Most Efficient LEDs on the Market
With the cost of electricity steadily rising, LED lighting has been increasing in popularity. This year's West Coast Green hosted multiple LED companies, but a new innovative player we took note of was Zemos. One of the major distinguishing features of Zemos LEDs is their chip technology. Their chips are all copper and aluminum bonded, and they have no plastic or substrate materials to melt. Their chip is manufactured from stronger material than the competition's, and their product has been tested in laboratories to certify their claims, according to the company.
One product on display was Zemo's 12 Watt PAR down light, which can replace a 100 watt incandescent. The company guarantees the lifetime of this bulb for 50,000 hours. This bulb lasts 50x longer longer and is 80% more efficient than an incandescent light, according to the company. Zemos also manufactures linear LED replacements for fluorescent lights that use 10 watts instead of 32 watts, panel lights that use 55 watts, and street lights. One of their street lights can replace 3 bay lights burning about 250 watts each, generate similar lighting and burn only 120 watts. Zemos LED lights come in a range of color temperatures from 2700K to 7000K; the 2700K is a warm light and the 7000K is a bright white light. In addition, all their lights are dimmable.
In addition to their chip technology, Zemos' power supply technology is more efficient than the competitions, according to the company, with a 90% efficiency compared to 75% - 80% efficiency by the competition.
The company guarantees their products, and will replace any defective products. All of their products are environmentally friendly, biodegradable and recyclable. Furthermore, their products use no toxins and, unlike fluorescents, they are mercury free.
